Summary/Abstract |
When Hannah starts at a new school, all the other girls in her class are already in firm friendship groups, and she feels left out. A girl called Louise tries to include Hannah, but this just annoys her best friend Gemma, who is mean to Hannah. Mum and Dad know that a puppy would be a great pal for Hannah, so they take her to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, where she chooses Huey the husky. With his striking ice-blue eyes and cheerful character, Huey makes Hannah forget about her tough time at school. Can Huey charm her classmates so that everyone can be friends?
