| Summary/Abstract |
Pierre, the narrator, upset by the suicide of a friend of his son, looks at his past. He also experienced the suicide of his best friend and twenty- seven years later, it still haunts him. It was during the summer of 1980 to Duaraz, a village in Britain, a gang of six youths discovered the mutilated body of a vagrant. This was the beginning of a cascade of scary and evil events.
