Summary/Abstract |
This is the remarkable story of one endearing dog's search for his purpose over the course of several lives. More than just another charming dog story, this touches on the universal quest for an answer to life's most basic question: Why are we here? Surprised to find himself reborn as a rambunctious golden haired puppy after a tragically short life as a stray mutt, Bailey's search for his new life's meaning leads him into the loving arms of 8 year old Ethan. During their countless adventures Bailey joyously discovers how to be a good dog. But this life as a beloved family pet is not the end of Bailey's journey. Reborn as a puppy yet again, Bailey wonders, will he ever find his purpose? Heartwarming, insightful, and often laugh out loud funny, this book is not only the emotional and hilarious story of a dog's many lives, but also a dog's eye commentary on human relationships and the unbreakable bonds between man and man's best friend. This story teaches us that love never dies, that our true friends are always with us, and that every creature on earth is born with a purpose.

A wicked history: 20th century
|
Summary/Abstract |
Joseph Stalin was born in 1878 and died in 1953. People remembered him as a cruel guy because he was a Dictator. He was known as the dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics from 1929 to 1953. Under Stalin commanding, the Soviet Union was transformed from a peasant society into an industrial and military superpower. Joseph wasn’t born in a good way, he was born in poverty then became involved in revolutionary politics. But not just that, he also participated in criminal activities at a young age. After Joseph’s friend Vladimir Lenin died Joseph got mad that he put a lot of people in labor camps. With all of those cruel activities, Stalin aligned with the United States and Britain World War II from 1939 to 1945. But after the war, it also led to another war called the Cold War. After Stalin’s death, the Soviets initiated a de-Stalinization process.

Summary/Abstract |
It's easy to become disheartened when your planet has been demolished for an unnecessary hyperspacial express route, the woman you love has vanished in a misunderstanding about the nature of space/time, the spaceship in which you are travelling crashed in flames on a remote and Bob-fearing planet, and all you have to fall back on are a few sandwich-making skills. However, instead of becoming disheartened, Arthur Dent makes the terrible mistake of starting to enjoy life a bit and immediately all hell breaks loose.

Summary/Abstract |
The mouse and his child are wind-up toys forever joined at the hands. But when their mechanism breaks they are discarded, separated from the doll house where they lived and the toy elephant that the child calls "mother" (much to her chagrin). And so begins a suspenseful journey that is heartbreaking, thought-provoking, and ultimately joyful as the mice seek what seems at first to be impossible: independence (self-winding) and the way back home.
