Summary/Abstract |
For not paying his taxes, Moralélastix a Gallic chief miserly deposits all of his money in a common pot and asks Vitalstatistix to keep him in his village until the passage of quaestor Roman. Vitalstatistix agrees but in the night, it is stolen. The Village Council is then forced, to banish Asterix, and he must then fill the pot again to clear the fault and be allowed to return to his family, accompanied by Obelix.
