Nathan launches a collection of stories from five continents, in a simplified version for young audiences and accompanied by an audio CD to listen to the history and discover the traditional instruments of a country. "La Cigale et le petit rat" is a Maghreb tale. A very coquettish cicada looks for a husband and after reviewing all her suitors, she offers her hand to a small rat, seduced by her eagerness to satisfy her. While washing his linen in the river, the cicada is not drowning. Since that day, her husband has decided to take charge of all the tasks of the house, that is why today, the rats are very busy animals, while the cicadas sing and butterfly all day. A story full of malice, beautifully illustrated by Xavier Frehring.
