Summary/Abstract Cissy and Kookie are with a travelling theatre group playing the parts of the attendant spirits in the play "The Tempest". This means that they have to drop down from the rafters on ropes. However, in the middle of the show, the Junker Boys rob the town bank and the dynamite causes the old rafters to shake and snap. Cissy and Kookie are left dangling in mid-air whilst the theatre company are accused of being the bank robbers and are taken away to be hanged.
