Summary/Abstract |
Mrs. Dupré has a donkey on her farm. His name is Gaspard and he is always hungry. One day Mrs. Dupré attaches Gaspard to his chariot and along with her children, they all go to the fair. At the fair, they tie Gaspard to the fence and ask him to stay there. After a while he gets hungry. He manages to break the cord that bound him to the fence. He goes looking for food to eat.

Mrs. Dupré has seven sheep on her farm. One of the sheep has a black eye, his name is Bouclette. One day Bouclette was very bored and therefore ran away. He saw a garden with lots of flowers and went there. He loved eating the flowers. Mrs. Dupré saw Bouclette eating the flowers from her garden and was very upset. She shouted at him and he ran from there. Mrs. Dupré went to the funfair with her children and Caramel. Bouclette followed them there.He saw a huge crowd at the fair and went right in between. He won a cup for the most handsome sheep. Mrs. Dupré forgot her anger and was very proud of Bouclette.

Mrs. Dupré has six pigs on her farm, one is the mother pig and there are 5 piglets. The youngest piglet is called Tire-Bouchon. One day when Mrs. Dupré went to give food to the pigs, she noticed that Tire-Bouchon was missing. She calls her children and her dog Caramel and they go searching for Tire-Bouchon. They look in the hen house, in the barn, in the cow shed and in the vegetable patch. But he is nowhere to be found. Caramel leads them to Tire-Bouchon who is stuck in the ditch! Mrs. Dupré, her children and Caramel all manage to remove Tire-Bouchon from the ditch.
