Unit 5 - Energy Resources describes the different types of altrenative energy sources, their uses and the importance of conservation of energy. Unit 6 - Resources in the Biosphere includes air, water, soils and minerals, land etc; their uses, the ways they are getting polluted, its consequences, and ways and methods to stop the pollution of these resources. Unit 7 - Managing Human Impact is all about the effect of human beings on the ecosystem, and how conservation and recycling have become crucial matters to be looked into. It also presents the need for global co-operation to achieve its goals.
