It is an account of changes witnessed in these areasand describes the nature different ecosystems and the destinctive species found in them. He also describes the linkages betwen local people and the wilderness resources used by them in and around these areas. the book attempts to make the similarities and differences between the various sanctuaries and National parks by interconnecting them through the biogeographic zones they belong to.
