| Summary/Abstract |
It is winter in Paris and Madeleine is having problems at school. A new girl is bullying her and Madeleine is too ashamed to ask for help from her friends Madame Pamplemousse and her cat Camembert. Then she meets Madam Bonbon, who owns a sweet shop full of the most exciting-looking sweets and chocolates. The chocolates that Madam Bonbon gives Madeleine at first help her feel able to overcome anything, even Mirabelle the bully. But the more chocolate she eats, the more Madeleine is drawn into a terrifying world from which she is unable to escape
